Insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring: What the non- endocrinologist should know.
An increasing number of individuals with diabetes are turning to insulin pump therapy and real-time glucose monitoring to treat their diabetes. In addition to endocrinologists, many other health practitioners such as GPs are and will be increasingly exposed to patients using insulin pumps or continuous glucose sensors. This seminar will help GPs and other health practitioners gain awareness of the indications for the practicalities of the use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose sensors by adult diabetes patients.
